In 2024, Patrick Kinemo joined MSI’s Senior Leadership team as Country Director for MSI Tanzania. Patrick has experience in the health services sector, having worked with various NGOs in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. With a background in health and management, Patrick is committed to improving health systems and outcomes as well as advancing the operations of MSI Tanzania.
In previous leadership roles, Patrick has enhanced health services across Tanzania and Zanzibar by managing diverse teams and projects that focused on reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescent health, alongside family planning and prevention of sexual violence against children. He joined us from his role as Director of Programmes and Chief of Party for the Momentum Integrated Health Resilience project at Pathfinder Tanzania. He also served as Director of Programmes at Sikika for seven years.
Patrick holds a Master of Pharmacy from King’s College London, and Management Training from the University of Liverpool. He is a member of the Tanzania Pharmaceutical Society, and previously a member of the UK’s Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
