Nguyen Thi Bich Hang has been the Country Director for MSI Vietnam since 1998, leading MSI to be one of the most innovative and sustainable international non-governmental organisations in the country.
With over 10 years of prior experience in business development and core business management, Hang Nguyen has brought MSI Vietnam a business-oriented mindset and strong business management skills. She is leading MSI Vietnam’s transformation from a purely donor-dependent NGO into a thriving and sustainable social enterprise.
Hang Nguyen has been successful in expanding infrastructure and networks for sexual and reproductive health services to millions of women with unmet needs for family planning, safe abortion, and women’s health services and products. Under her leadership, MSI Vietnam has built strong partnerships in the public and private health sectors, and has received many awards from government agencies, donor agencies, and business partners.
Hang Nguyen holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Laws from Hanoi National University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii in Manoa. In 2005, she was accredited by the Partnership Broker Association as one of the first partnership brokers in the Indochina region.
