MSI Mexico  

MSI’s programme in Mexico began its work in 1999 in the Chiapas region, with its first centre delivering family planning services.

Since then, Mexico has decriminalized abortion, and so MSI Mexico has grown into a network of centres around the country. Currently are 5 centres in Mexico City and 6 more in the states of Coahuila, Quintana Roo, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Baja California where we offer integral sexual and reproductive health services covering almost all life stages.  
 
Fundacion MSI Mexico offers services for:  

• Contraception 
• Safe abortion 
• HPV tests
• STI tests 
• Menstrual health 
• Vasectomy 

With a focus on reaching those most in need, Fundacion MSI Mexico has implemented strategies to provide young people with reproductive healthcare information and services to tackle high rates of stigma, unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortion, and cervical cancer prevention. Our outreach teams and midwives travel to hard-to-reach locations to enable people with no alternative to exercise their right to reproductive healthcare. Additionally, our grant program supports women who require access to safe abortion services but do not have the resources or ability to do so.
