From October 13-15, MSI is proudly representing women and girls and the global fight for reproductive choice at the World Health Summit in Germany.

The World Health Summit ‘puts global health on the world’s agenda’. And we’re there to make sure abortion and choice is on that agenda.

Over these three days, we’ll be in the presence of more than a hundred participating nations, with stakeholders from politics to science, the private sector to civil society. We’re proudly meeting with the Government of Germany and other crucial partners to ensure the transformative impact of sexual and reproductive health and rights is at the centre of these discussions.

Erica Belanger, Associate Director of Government Partnerships, who is there representing MSI, has shared:

“It is energising that the summit is held in Germany, giving us the chance to connect with many of our partners like DSW and the Government of Germany. As the third largest government donor to sexual and reproductive health and rights, the Government of Germany is a consistent and impactful supporter, bringing to life their commitments to gender equality and human rights.”

We’re bringing to the table our insights on using sustainable approaches to deliver services for the long term, and our leadership on reaching the world’s most marginalised and vulnerable women and girls. Our work is moving the needle on women’s ability to make decisions over their own sexual and reproductive rights, driving forward gender equality.

At forums like these, we strengthen our bold partnerships for greater coordination and shared impact. Working together, we can equip millions more women and girls with life-changing agency and choice.
