New York Times journalist Nicholas Kristof recently visited MSI’s frontline programme in Madagascar and wrote about the potential impact of Trump’s incoming policies on the lives of women and girls globally.

“When he returns to the White House, President-elect Trump is widely expected to slash funding for women’s health organizations around the world.

All this will be hotly debated by men in suits in Washington, but it will play out in the lives of exhausted women in places like Madagascar.”

Kristof lays bare the true impact of US policy decisions, and praises MSI’s commitment to supporting women with the reproductive healthcare they need.

“Thank goodness for groups like the U.N. Population Fund and MSI, for taking on reproductive health in a way that isn’t performative or ideological but actually saves lives.”
